Advisory on Corona (COVID-19).

S.P.Hdqrs O.D No.1365/Con Dt.16.04.2021 regarding Restriction on Public access to Govt. Offices and conduct of meetings in view of resurgence of
COVID-19 in the State.

S.P.Hdqrs Letter No.1155/Con Dt.14.03.2020 regarding "Advisory on COVID-19".

At Personal Level By All Police Persons:

They must ensure social distancing, personal and family hygiene and practice the following:

Practice frequent hand washing. Wash hands with soap and water. Wash hands even if they are visibly clean.
Follow sneezing and coughing etiquettes like cover your nose and mouth with handkerchief / tissue paper while sneezing and coughing. Throw used tissue papers into closed bins immediately after use.
Consult a doctor if you feel unwell (fever, difficult breathing and cough). While visiting doctor wear a mask / cloth to cover your mouth and nose. If you have these signs / symptoms please contact with nearest Government Health Facility.
Avoid participating in large gathering.
Practice social distancing.
Don’t have a close contact with anyone, if you’re experiencing cough and fever.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Don’t spit in public.
Do not spit in public.
No Police functions to be organized.

In Our Dealings With Public:

You are advised to carry out the following:

Go through the Government of Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department Notification No.7662/H, dated 13.03.2020 and regulations thereof.
Take adequate preventive measures to avoid crowding and mass gathering.
Do not give permission for large gatherings / functions.
Work in close coordination with Authorized Officers as per Government of Odisha COVID-19 Regulations,2020.
Where necessary, take steps to impose required restrictions on assemblies, congregations, institutions and establishments aiming at “Social Distancing” to contain the spread of the disease by invoking powers under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
Keep a close watch on social media to check rumour mongering on “Covid-19” and if found take appropriate legal action.
