The "Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF)" was Created Vide Home Department Resolution No. 939/CD, Dt.07.06.2001 in order to overcome the Natural Calamities.




OBJECTIVES:

  • To act as first line of support.
  • To move before a disaster strikes.
  • To conduct search, rscue, evacuation & relief.
  • Reducing Casuality during Disasters.
  • Clearance of Channels of Communication.
  • Quick deployment of Equipment and Personnel with Timely Intervention.
  • Instill faith in the people.
